Embark on a 15-day motorcycle odyssey through Zimbabwe, starting in Livingstone and looping via Victoria Falls, Binga and the Lake Kariba ferry, Harare and the cobalt-blue Chinhoyi Caves, the sweeping Eastern Highlands of Nyanga and Chimanimani, the storied Great Zimbabwe ruins, the granite crowns of the Matobo Hills, and elephant country in Hwange. With a well-judged 70/30 mix of asphalt and gravel, daily distances around 300 km, and handpicked lodges from riverfront hideaways to bush camps, you’ll balance spirited riding with signature moments: optional “Flight of Angels” over the Falls, sunset at Lightning Rock, a ferry cruise on Kariba, a Hwange game drive, and moonlight elephant tracking—wrapped in guided camaraderie, good food, and big-sky Africa from first throttle to last.

Expected Weather

August and September are generally clear and dry with temperatures warming up making it ideal for game viewing.

Roads & Terrain

Most of the asphalt roads are in fair condition, given the political turmoil the country went through and is still going through. There are however sections that are heavily potholed.
